Creative Curriculum

Children's interests and ideas are at the center of the curriculum. Teachers observe what children are curious about and build lessons and activities around those interests.

Play is seen as essential for children's development. It's not just fun; it's how children learn about the world around them. So, the curriculum includes lots of opportunities for children to play, both independently and with others.

Instead of just listening to lectures or doing worksheets, children engage in activities that involve all their senses. They might paint, build with blocks, explore nature, or role-play different scenarios.

While there's a basic framework to guide learning, the Creative Curriculum is flexible. Teachers adapt it to meet the needs and interests of the children in their class.

Rather than teaching subjects in isolation, the curriculum integrates different areas of learning. For example, children might learn about shapes and patterns while doing an art project, or they might practice counting by sorting and categorizing objects.
